The guys at the Jeep Shop seem pretty cool, they're a family business though so I doubt they'd be hiring. They moved into the shop where I used to work (a body shop). I'm not sure about Jeff Daniels though.

jeep shop guys have always been great to me

they are about 80 an hour on the labor side but honest people and will do what you ask and only that

for example: I ordered all the hardlines to do my self in april from morris 4x4, i never got around to doing them and inspection time came so i took the jeep in and they said that the crack in the windshield was failable but they would pass it and the serp belt looked iffy but they always look like that so don't worry, they said it only needed hardlines and they would pass it. so the next sunday i started to install the hardlines i ordered in april, i got the back axle done and started on the ones that connect to the master cyl. well it turns out i had abs lines and i dont have abs. Man did i feel like a dumbasss!!!!! I called the jeep shop up and they took care of me, i gave em the lines i couldnt return anymore and they put the rest of the lines on from a non abs set and didnt charge me for parts, just labor.


so in short they are good people, locals, and nice

I start my real job tomorrow arty: ...no more hitting 3 different junkyards during the week. Then I can quit this part time crap that causes me to never be able to work on my jeep (crap every weekend)

I'm here haha. I'm working at CTDI in west chester in the accounts receivable dept. I'm on break now, I'm on a computer most of the day, but I don't wanna get in trouble the first day for cruising naxja when I'm supposed to be working

Heh yeah, I'll be working on the jeep tonight...but once I'm done with this part time crap every weekend (driving to conshohocken and doing 9 hours of training sat and sun) I'll be able to get more crap done

Thanks...yeah, I got it through a temp agency, but the company basically said if I like the job after a few months that I can have it. Its already a hell of a lot better than the sales crap I've been doing every weekend heh

Good old CTDI.... talk about a family-owned business that really took off.

I used to work at a semi-conductor OEM on the other side of the corporate park from them. The company I worked for is loonnng gone now (that was back in the 90's, up until 02). CTDI has gone through their share of down-sizing and belt-tightening efforts through the years, but is considered a well-managed VERY stable company. I think most new-hires come in as temps there, they took that posture quite a few years ago now, and it seems to work for them. I have known quite a few folks that have worked there over the years, and I don't remember many complaints.
