Junk Yards?

I am trying to find some junk yards on WI and IL border. I am moving up there on Wensday and I would like to find a junk yard that has jeep parts.

Any ideas? Recommendations

They had both... but it has been awhile since I was there. They do ALOT of insurance salvage, so their stuff tends to turn.

Rt. 14 Auto Parts in Woodstock

This guys are horrible, talked to 3 different people about the same thing. I need a 136 amp alternator. I told them what model years that I want, they looked at me like I am dumb. Back and forth about what I need and what I want. Still haven't found what I need

Yeah I don't know what their problem was? Maybe cause I was in shorts and sandals? Either way all I asked for was a 136amp alternator, I will give it some time and go back later.

On my rare visits to junk yards I wear boots, bibs, old shirt, dirty hat.

Never had an issue.

Understandable, the last time I was at a junk yard was over 12years ago and I wore sandals then.

There is another yard in waukegan about 10 minutes south of Wadsworth. Both yards had Cherokees and Durangos.

LKQ.. you have to do your own leg work. You go find your vehicle and pull your own. They do not know what is in the yard. They might have an idea, but they won't know specifics.
