Junk Yard Parts Finds/Requests

Bringing this thread back from the dead.....

In Hesperia at the Santa Fe Yard I recently spotted:

3 97+ XJs 2 of which have nearly complete motors
-two of those rigs should have center consoles
-One of these has a 8.25 rear end with brakes.
-one of these may have the rear, didn't really have time to inspect and they had just dropped this vehicle there.

Also found a white 4.0zj there that has a d30/35 which was sporting drilled and slotted rotors.

Complete yj body, pretty picked through otherwise...

Lastly, I ran into some dipshit who saw that my buddy and I were looking under the XJ's and asked us if we were looking for D44s. We asked if he was a jeep guy and he proceeded to tell us how he "hates jeeps", but buys the d44s and sells them to jeepers for 400-500... so, if you happen to spot this guy, kindly call him a bitch, take the good Jeep parts from his wheelbarrow and tell him to go screw his sister. :D

looking for an overflow canister for my 90xj..I have an open system so I need the canister that comes on the 96 and up xj's

i am not 100% positive on this, but i am pretty sure there is at least one at the Santa Fe yard.... next time i am by there i will be sure to look for one specifically.

Looking for the shifter bezel from a 99-04 WJ with the selec trac. I'm in the process of removing my worthless boat anchor 247 AWD tcase and installing a 242HD. Everything is bolt in except the rear ds which I already bought. The only thing I need now is the shifter bezel. I got a heads up that there was one at the san berdu yard so I headed over today but it was picked clean. I checked out the two they had at the ontario pap but they were both the quadra trac which is the AWD crap I already have. Here's a pic of what I need. I only need the bezel and not the entire assembly. If you see one PLEASE grab it.

Looking for wj knuckles rotors calipers. If anyone comes across them I'd be willing to pay to have them pulled for me. I can do it myself but finding them is a bitch and Id spend more in gas than it would cost to pay to have someone yank the parts for me on one of their jy ventures

last i heard there were WJs in the beach blvd. PYP.

X2. Most yards charge $5-$10 for the bezel. I would easily spend $40-50 in gas going from Forest Falls to the OC and back.

Yo cheap pull em for me and I make your time worth it. I remember you were going to pull an 8.8 for me a while back but the yard didn't have the 4.10 ratio. Pm me if you're interested.

Saw this at the Wilmington Ecology today if anyone's interested:

You don't want that tire carrier, that style sucks.

Get the real one illustrated here:

Spotted one in the Santa Fe Springs Ecology today. Still mounted with all the hardware.

Also at S.F.S. a really clean COMANCHE with stake bed (no factory bed) interior bench seat, I didn't see any rust. Front bumper and grill are missing.

And a couple of other RENIX era XJ's
Mike

P.S. I need an AX-5 manual trans for my 4 cyl. '96 2 w.d. I'll pay labor + cost for one.
Give me a call if you spot one; 5six2-six98-OO89
THANKS!

i have an ax5 4wd trans out of a '90 wrangler. the engine worked out great in my 96 after i switched it to fuel injection. maybe the trans will work with some switching around
