anyone know what year grand cherokee seats fit in an 87 xj???? we got several grand cherokee's here in hesperia and the seats are in super shape !!!!

Nothing will bolt right into an '87, you'll need to make custom bracketry. (f you had a '95+ this would be different.
The best XJ mirrors are 1997 - 2001, they are a bit larger than the 1984 - 1996 mirrors and stay in place when you fold them in, my '96 sports a set of them.

I can fab up a set of brackets no problem ...but just askin ; thanks for the mirror info . I am talkin about the pick and pull on santa fe in hesperia ....I will be there @ 3:30 look for an orange truck .......gotta get some mirrors!!!!

The rear split bench will take some fab work for sure. The XJs bench only mounts on the left and right (Both the back and bottom) whereas the split bench will have a mount in at the split point.

Stopped at the Beach Blvd pick a part in Stanton on the way home. Lotsa XJ's there. I counted 5 renix xjs, 1 92 2wd, and a longbed comanche with the complete Dana 44 rear. 3 of the xjs had aftermarket shocks. 1 red 90 had a spacer lift and stock looking side rock rails?

so does this mean you had your friend save the D44 for you, or do some of us have a chance of going to get it ourselves. i for one would like to go and actually get one for MYSELF, and not have to pay someone on here a couple hundred bucks for getting to it first. you guys do realize that when someone gets these D44s, its useally another XJ guy trying to make his rig nicer right?

ok sorry for the bad post. i sinserely apologise. i missinterpreted the post and thought he meant he had a friend AT the junk yard, and was calling him to possibly save it. again my deepest apologies, especially to Johnnyc.
its just that so many times a D44 gets found in a yard and posted on a forum, someone goes and grabs it and then posts it on craigslist or somewere just to make a profit. yes i do believe in free enterprize. i just dont believe in making a large profit on fellow naxja members. again, i am very sorry.

No worries. I saw the D44 on Friday and called Jim because I knew he was going to eventually need one for his "new" MJ. I would have pulled it for him, but I was short on time. I was going to see if he might want some help pulling it on Sunday, but the bastid never called me back.
So it's still there, ripe for the taking. Too bad it's not half-price any more though.
