So in a group effort it appears that my boss along with a friend have made a deal on a truck and I'll be gearing up to start preparing for some races.

We are scheduled to pick up our new ride toward the end of next month...

Is the current owner of this truck on the boards?

i believe thats eric fillars from national drivetrain, i think he's on here.

Congrats on the purchase.

Some Jeepspeeds loose value because their owners don't maintain them and upgrade them. Filar's Jeep has only gotten faster and more reliable over the years because of the maintanence and upgrades that they have made. In my opinion, probably one of the nicest cars out there right now.

JR , welcome to the world of Jeepspeed and Desert Racing. I hope you enjoy it as much as rally, and congrats on the purchase. You realize this car has a reputation to uphold in Baja :). I'm glad Jeepspeed will be represented in Paisley, def looking forward to that one. The CODRA folks are great peaple and have been working hard to put it together. There should be a prerun coming up this spring.

if you're gonna be at the 500 in june, then i'll see you there! working on buying a jeepspeed now, so if you wanna haul some spares/fuel for us, then we'll haul some stuff for you as pit/chase trucks. that way we can both have more ground covered for a lot less money!

even if i end up with a non-jeepspeed, my other choice is a class 9 car, but we could still help each other out if you're game for that.

Welcome to Baja racing JR.
You guys are getting a great car. Gonna be sad to see it go, but stoked to see it still racing the Baja.

We've had countless good times with this car these last six years and you guy will have the same.

Good Luck!

We'll be running the Paisley 400 race here in Oregon in June.
