I'd feel a lot more forgiving if even one of the certificates had been honored. Has he made any product before? Was product produced after signing on with ? Was product produced for sale after a certificate was attempted to be cashed in? Did customers who saw advertising on purchase product?

Those are all the tough questions that I'm sure we won't hear the answer to. He had the chance to man up earlier, instead he chose to ride it out until several members attempted to cash in and the BOD was taking action (he surrendered on his deadline date), that's the easy way out.

I agree completely...... My comment wasnt meant as forgiving, simply an observation. He screwed up and instead of telling the organization the ship was sinking he waited till everyone was looking for the boat... bad biz and tough to recover from reputation wise

He has the tube doors and roof rack on his XJ. He also produced a roof rack for the Clrusty build in October and donated that.

I don't know if he ended up selling any or producing any more than that the ones on his Jeep and the rack that Rusty has.

I have one of his cast off 2 door and 4 door pax side front tube door in my garage. After he moved, he left a gas tank skid at his old place and I swung by to fetch it and grabbed those he left behind too, just because.

Yeah joe donated the rack. I chipped in on the material and rusty picked it up at my place.

And to answer your questions he did not get anywhere with his business. I think he did one rack for a guys ford explorer or something and that lead came from a craigslist ad.

did he not set up "octane outlaws" as a separate username? if so, i think his company should be banned, but not necesarily him. when a business goes belly up, the owner isn't legally responsible for debts accrued by the company. the company is treated like a dead person with no family, whose debts just kinda go away. joe is a good guy, who just happened to make some bad decisions, and some promises he couldn't keep. he never made a dime off of naxja, and naxja's advertising, but donated some stuff to a good cause here and there, and sold some stuff to some people who never even heard of naxja. because he was never able to sell any of his wares, he had to let his 'company' die and cut his losses. joe has made some good friends through naxja, and has been a good friend to me and others on here.
is there a chance of banning his 'business' and not him?
maybe just ban him from ever trying to advertise a business on naxja again?
