Hey Guys,

ATTENTION: Looking for adventurous and creative Jeep Patriot and Marvel Comics fans! If this describes you, then here’s a way to express your creativity!

Check out The Patriot Factor page on the Jeep website and get started on creating a script for a new Comic book! In this comic, the all-new 2007 Jeep Patriot ( https://www.patriotadventure.com ) plays an integral role in the hero's journey and you get to commandeer where the story goes!

An expert panel from Marvel Comics will judge input from participants. If your idea is chosen, you will see your script come to life through the pencil of Marvel artist Bing Cansino. Adding to the excitement, the contestant selected may get a chance to receive an original page sketch signed by Bing himself! You can check back daily to see your imaginative ideas evolve from sketch to ink to color.

Check it out here https://www.patriotadventure.com , have fun!

Good luck to all!

Bring back the Cherokee and get rid of the stupid crap you are building now and I bet you find a lot more interested people on this fourm.

I agree, showed up to basically advertise the new patriot.
What makes DC and Jeep any different than any other spammer?

Done.

I don't care if it is Jeep.

If they want to advertise, use the same forum all our vendors have to use.
as did I.
I wonder how many other forums they spammed.

seems quite a bit

also seems as though they picked our particular forum to push the patriot, perhaps because DC really thinks that it's an XJ replacement.

how misguided they are.

anyway, bottom line is that it's advertisement.

I was looking on their website, and if, if I had to buy a new Jeep for DD duty, it'd be the Patriot. Not because its only 14,980, in order to get one worth buying your looking a more like 18k, but because it seems as though it'd be a decent DD with occasional light off-roading. My XJ would stick around as the actual wheeler. The new Wranglers are just too danged expensive for what I'd want.

For daily drivers a lot of what Jeep has out I wouldn't mind owning. I just wish they would bring the Eagle name back and use that.

These vehicles are not jeeps.

It looks as though it isn't DCX who are doing this directly, but rather BBDO Detroit, the marketing firm that they've hired. If you check this page the idea seems to be borne out; pretty easy to find since they seemingly signed up on every forum with the same email address and some of those forums are making the address public. Might be worth a call to them to let them know that this sort of thing generally isn't appreciated.

Or at least the drones at the marketing firm do. Somehow I get the impression that DCX knows they're not fooling us, even if the marketing firm's trying their best to pretend that they are.
