Jeep Blessing May 4, 2013. MICHIGAN

I didn't. I don't think my jeep is going to the blessing, I am spending my jeep money to go to the extreme truck challenge with my kid this weekend, that is if Lexi doesn't go into labor. going to cruise the baby jeep up there with A/C and heat and wheel the stock/intermediate course. And hang with all you fine folks.

Well since we don't make it up to Michigan that much we are gonna try and wheel as much as we can during the day. Maybe do a little bit of twisted trails Friday afternoon. Then drink the rest of the night. That may be what our game plan is.

Text me and let me know. I'm not sure if the good stuff is within walking distance so I am putting a flag on the baby jeep to get us close if we need to. It will be me, my boy and my brother in law so you could hitch a ride into the park if need be.

All this could change if she goes into labor anytime this week though
 
Since we will be coming up on friday morning, does anybody have any good spots on the way up to stop and look at it since we don't get to michigan that often.
 
The hospital in Flint isn't worth stopping at...

The one in Clare isn't too bad, but really small...

The only other place I've been is Rocks and Valleys...

Stay away from Flint! But if you must go to Flint, stay away from the Rally's by the hospital at all costs if you value life!!!

most of the wineries are up north, traverse city and surrounding areas. if your looking for something like... natural beauty, i have a lot of suggestions along lake michigan, none of which are along the way. all at the same lattitide as mesick or even farther north. if your woman is patient, and doesnt mind visiting wineries after the blessing... let her chit chat with mine, she cant give you guys all the details on where to go and what there is to do as your mrs drags you along. lol.






just occured to me that the day after the blessing is cinco de mayo... who is bringing the tequila?
 
Yea lake michigan isn't really on our way up. Heading up the middle of the state. I will have her talk to your woman and get some info. Im not a huge fan of wine. I will just stick the 12oz cans.
 
yea we are heading up to mesick on friday and then saturday after the event we are heading on up to cheboygan to see a friend of hers. Might see whats going on up there. Everything is still up in the air. No definate plans on what we are doing except for camping out and throwing back some cold ones with some fellow naxja'ers.
 
I don't know what all Michigan has to offer so was just curious if we should stop and look at anything neat
