got two guys coming up that I work with, one with a TJ and the other with a CJ.

What way do you plan on taking? I took 10/m37 last year, but looks like 10/115 is a straight shot and 30mi shorter.

Sounds good. its easier for us to just drive straight north up to 131 than it is to cut over to 69 and then up. Guess we will see what happens

i could be mistaken. even if it is intermediate, there are always bypasses.

id offer to install the locker in the parking lot... wouldnt take long even with basic hand tools. but, if your driving it to and from, i wouldnt want to jepordize your ride.

probably the better option... i had to remove my cross shaft from my carrier. would be difficult without a vice.

all it takes is lock tight, basic hand tools, feeler gauges, torque wrench (if you remove the ring gear bolts), and fluid.

I thought for a lock right type locker you don't have to remove the carrier. Doesn't it just replace the spider gears? Guess I could be wrong on the Dana 30

everything ive read says that you DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE RING GEAR from the D30 carrier with 3.55 gears... your supposed to be able to do it without even removing the carrier, right?

i could not remove my cross shaft without removing the ring gear.
