just heard back from 4x4groupbuy

so he is apparently willing to act point, collect money, etc.
Good work, Jason's a good guy too. I sent the FULL list to Alexparts as well. I asked for a QTY of 10 shipped to Portland ME. I guess we sit tight till they are back from Holiday.

Yeah I didn't figure shipping would be too bad. Hell, everything is cheap in China, apparently dirt cheap if you order from Alex Parts :D.

I deff. want the front clip, fenders, and headligts

Can anyone speak on the legality of those headlights stateside?

I'm interested in a price for front clip, lighting and tail lights.

They look OEM, so I don't think you would have a single problem unless you go somewhere are they literally look for the DOT on the headlights. I don't know if China has to conform to anything as far as DOT/ SAE, E-Spec, J-Spec etc etc, but again, We're not talking ebay Halo's that look retarded. I wonder what buld type they use though, gonna get some HID's in there.

Depending on the price, I am in for at least a set of taillights, possibly the full front clip (header, grill, headlights, fenders).

Yeah, count me on fenders, flares, headlights header panel grille and taillights, i don't think I need the bumpers really.

I am also in on a front end assembly, has anyone confirmed if the factory flares will bolt up to these fenders? I am located in Portland Oregon and run a warehouse here, depending on the size of this order I would definently help out! I think 4X4 groupbuy would definently be the way to go, it would make everything much more organized!

I'm thinking U.S. flares would bolt up, but I'm wondering in my case if our 97+ flares would match the 2500's bumper endcaps. I doubt they will, that's why I may just get flares too depending on price and availability.

The fenders look a lot different so I don't think the legacy flares would just bolt right up.

I've sent a list of parts to 4x4groupbuy and pointed him to Alex Parts and that other enterprising fella, so I guess we'll hear something back after he talks to them.

Cool ; Please consider me for 2 Sets Of :
Fenders
Header Panel (inner grille)
Outer Grille
Headlights
Marker Lights
Tail lights

I Concur ; 4x4groupbuy is the better way to go at it;
Great to have them assist on all the logistics for this type of purchase.
Regards.

Good point, my non DOT AutoPal's went through state inspection without a hitch.

Just read the MJ 2500 clip conversion on GoJeep's site, he mentions the fenders being identical with exception of the headlight cutouts. It also looks as though the flare mounting holes are identical by comparing photo's. Installing factory flares shouldnt be a problem.

Something that concerns me is the rake of the grill forward, i'm hoping it wont make contact with my winch, figure i can make clearance for the grills height easily enough.

OK, the question I have, If the fenders are the same except for the headight cutout at the front, how big is the difference. Is it something that we would be able to cut out our current fenders to make fit, or are the 2500 fenders longer to reach forward?

Go back a few pages, theres a nice pic of the fenders. There is a small section added to them under the lower headlight. I bet a good body guy could mod a set of fenders easily enough.

Also, there has to be an inner lip to attach the fender to the header panel and inner fenderwell.

Those are not at all the same fender flares. They are broader and have sharper angles

Also there does not appear to be an air deflector under the bumper like on the 96- models

Referring to my post? I didnt mean to imply they were the same flare, i can see they are shaped different... not that old. :D

I was speaking of the wheel opening and the mounting holes in the fender for the flare itself. Look at the pic above the one you posted.
