Using the info on RonsBeijingMJ page, I contacted all 3 of the e-mail addys that he had listed at the bottom of the page. So far the only one to get back to me is Zhao, who has been very nice and quite helpful. I gave him the full ist of part that is needed (I assume) to make this swap, and I just got the price list back. I think I'll wait to hear back from Alexparts as well after they return from Hoilday like Jeep2500 said.
So here is the list and the pricing, this DOES NOT include shipping, I'm still waiting to hear back from Zhao to see how bad that will be.

I also sent email to Zhao and he gave me the same information. I am also interested in the tail lights.
We should arrange a group buy so that shipping and tariffs are less of a hassle. Assuming it comes out to less than $500 per person to get a full front clip into port (will not include freight from docks to you) who would be interested in paying into a kitty?

I would like to do this as well. I to am going to skip the mirrors, I don't really like them, I just posted to get the pricing. Having a 99 I can't use the tail lights either. I'd be more than happy to run point on this if no one else cares to. I'm extremely interested, and want to get this stuff, but am pretty afraid to see what shipping is going to cost. I think a group buy would be the best way to go. I would also prefer to wait for Alexparts to open back up and see what they quote for pricing on this stuff. Their ad is pretty enticing price-wise compared to some of the pricing from Zhao.

I hear ya I got a 2wd too. I thought the same thing. Like let's make a bird fly but not give it wings to do so. At least its not that bad with a vehicle. You can still go offroad just make sure one of your buddies with a big truck comes and is prepared to pull you out just incase.

Looks like we have enough for 10 front clips and a few miscellaneous parts like tail-lights and mirrors.
Whoever plays point on this will need to collect all the money up front, deal with importing the parts, get it off the docks and into a warehouse, and then get the items shipped freight (not UPS) to the recipients (more money). They will also need to factor in for loss and damage, maybe insurance, etc.
It might be best for somebody to talk to the guys at 4x4groupbuy to front all this work, and find out if we can just fill up a bank account on pre-order funding. I'm guessing they've got the warehouse already, and Portland Maine has a shipping port.
Finding somebody near a major port on the west coast would be faster and probably cheaper.

I could use the taillights on my 90, but not my 99. I will actually only need one set of taillights, but I will probably do 2 or 3 sets of the actual front end parts. I don't know if anyone else is interested in the bumper and projector lights, but I am going to do those also, I think it would make the whole deal look much cleaner. I don't think shipping will be that bad, it will take a while, but I bet it will be relatively cheap actually. I too think we should wait for Alexparts to come back and see what "Jeep 2500" can do for us, but if that company isn't helpful in assisting him getting parts, I'd say we just use Zhao.NHxj4x4 said:
