Jeep 2500 Parts... I found them here...

I paid significantly more than that...Maybe it would be that low if you bought a shipping crate full of taillights :)
Well yeah, I'm thinking those were Chinese prices first off, and I'm sure that's just going to a vendor. I wonder if any of our U.S. vendors can get the stuff.

That was including SLOW shipping by boat.
So who did you get yours from Sting?

Ebay seller who sells HAM radio cables. http://stores.ebay.com/qMall He speaks pretty good english just email him exactly what you want with pictures....He takes paypal.
Hmm...very cool. So does he just have access to these parts or does he actually have a 2500?

I had him go to the dealership and get them :)
Man, he sounds pretty ambitious. I can't believe he was able to get two taillights at the dealership for under $70 and have them shipped to you. They must not charge near as much for stuff over there!

I like this 2500 wish they still made XJ here. But hey it's still alive somewhere being made brand new which is fantastic! What are the specs though on this 2500 compared to say the 99's? Like what kind of engine, engine specs, drivetrain, weight, etc.. Wondering if its improved, the same, or worse. Cause when it comes to the 2500 I always find its hard for me to get good info on it since its in China and translating the web sites don't always translate gramatically correct lol.

I know I could just transform mine to look like this but I like how it comes stock, the gauges are nice. Lol the speedomerter goes up to 200 where on the 99 its 100. But ultimately u could get a brand new one with almost no miles so not a lot of major mechanical work would need to be done for a while.

Aww man they killed it there too '05 was the last year. :( Long live the XJ! They'll bring it back just like how Dodge is bringing back the Challenger! Just wait 10 or 20 yrs (hopefully not that long).

Nevermind I see that 2500 and 2700 mean 2.5L and 2.7L. And their only manual. Plus since its Chinese it's prob only RHD. Though I thought I saw one in LHD mode. Unless that's just an old American XJ with everything updated but even the seats were different.

IN CHINA, AND LHD!

Probably by cargo ship. Pay off the seller through a wire transfer online and pay for it to be loaded, transported across the Pacific, and unloaded off of a giant freighter. Only thing is you'd want to fly there and check out the condition it is in since all are used. '05 was the last year made. Or instead of flying you could pay for a mechanic there to inspect it for you and video tape/take pix of everything. That's just what i'd probably do. Less expensive. I know people do this stuff to get their vehicles to and from Hawaii when they move to and from there.
