It would be pretty slick if we could get those parts though, Alex parts seems to sell the OEM 2500 stuff, but doesn't seem to really be a "dealer." I wonder if we have some means of going directly to a dealer for some things like that.

I remember someone who was going over that way in the past but I don't recall who it was. And even if we were able to get them at a dealer I would think that the quanity we want might be a problem for an "off the shelf" item. I'll try again with Alex. The catalogue they sent was the one for the Jeep 213 (Our 84-96) model. And there were no prices listed on it.
 
Well the first of my stuff arrived today. One fender came through OK and the other is nearly garbage. Guess I'm glad I have 2 more coming through in my other stuff!

Chris if we are going to get some replacements for the mismatched headlights and such would it be possible for me to get in a few extra fender orders? I would like to order 2 or 3 pairs so that hopefully some arrive intact.....(maybe I am jumping the gun because I haven't seen the other fenders yet)

Also, not to air any laundry in public but if your not hurting for it right away please give me another day or two to move around some paypal funds before I paypal you to cover my share of our shipping fees and such.

No, I'm doing fine. I just wanted to get the stuff out asap. Sorry about the fender, the way they shipped them is pretty stupid. They weight 10# each and we got 32 of them.... so the ones on the bottom had some weight on them and all the ends were poking out of the paper they wrapped them in. I kept all the extra bad ones for myself and just put the remainder in boxes. I think the key to getting stuff from them is just to keep the quanity small. I ended up with a bunch of mislabled taillights as well as headlamps with out a mate because they don't take care to check it before shipping. So what do you do? Your almost forced to order again so you can get the match for the missing part and to replace the broken stuff. I felt bad about sending out cracked header panels, but once again what can you do when almost all of them have a crack here or there?

ugh. I wish I knew someone that could join that message board, so they could ask the guy who posted the image for some info. Sadly, I only know English, Polish, and the occasional Italian swear.
 
Okay, I've tried to read the 100 some odd pages of how to get 2500 parts and I'm still a little confused. If I would like to add some of these parts to my 01 xj, do I need to setup another groupbuy, or does somebody have a small cashe within the U.S. that I can order from? I'm still just a little confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can do it yourself..... but it costs more. The "groupbuy" was to get the shipping cost down and spread it out over a few different people.

anyone know how to make these headlamps fit flush in the header panel? and is there some kind of adapter to connect the wire harness from the head lamp to my 99 xj???

I see. drivers side isnt too bad but the passenger side seems to have a good size gap from the top to bottom. maybe some rubber stripping around the headlamp is in order.
 
also, does that plastic bumper just go over my stock steel bumper?
 
It took me a bunch of time to get the lights to fit into the header I got the first time. You just can't rush it. Since everyone is going to see it you better take your time on it. I can't help you on the bumper you might want to ask bville since his is the red one pictured a few pages back.
