FLEXJ caught sunbathing in SD

What can I say, there is a God (for those who did'nt know). FLEXJ was recovered is San Diego on 7/10 by SDPD. It was found exactly as I left it, nothing was stolen including the change in the change-holder. Can you believe it, the High Lift, my tools my trash, it was all there, only a few extra miles on the odometer The only thing missing was the registration and insurance paperwork. Praise God!
Sorry for not posting earlier, I went out of town right after fetching my son from sunny SD.
Thanks for looking out for my rig guys and for those who prayed for it's safe return.
God Bless!

P.S.To my knowledge it was abandoned, no arrests...RATS

Hey...FORGIVEN....hope you didn't mind me borrowing your rig the other day...I had run out of gas and needed to get down to SD for my tattoo appointment....(you know how it pisses off those artists to miss an appointment!)
You left the keys in it....
Love

That is a truly amazing story. I'm glad you got it back, and even more glad it wasn't trashed, wrecked, or torched.

Glad to hear you got the rig back unharmed. I'm surprised they didn't take anything else out/off of it - ah, well, no sense looking the proverbial gift horse in the mouth.

Are the issuers of the missing documents aware that they were taken? If you're sure they're gone, you may want to give DMV/Insurance Co. a heads-up so the perp doesn't try to rip off your identity.

 thats AWESOME!! Did it run out of gas? I am really surprised that they didn't just get pissed and trash the thing. Somebody was lookin out for FlexJ.

That is just too cool. Gawd I love hearing stories with happy endings, and they don't get much better than this. Congratulations.

Great you got it back, but be suspicious of the missing documents. This is a new identity theft type scam.Call your insurance company immediately. The thieves, or someone they sold your info to, may have already reported an accident in your name, with themselves as the victim. You won't even know that the claim has been paid until your rates go up next year.

Check to see if your VIN tag or other IDs are missing. They may be used to create a "clone" of your Jeep, using another stolen XJ.

Good luck and e-mail me if you need more info.
