It's Time

Anyone got $1,900 kickin' round?

:bawl:

I think this weekend I a going to throw a "Paint DJ's Jeep BBQ". All proceeds will go towards a Jeep in need. If that doesn't pan out, I'm thinkin' about slingin' crack on the weekends..................

if the rest of the body is ok just paint the roof. that green is not hard to match and it being on the top your not going to notice if it is off a little. if you come to mo i could do it for about 500.

also this typically happens because of not enough clear from factory and also to the fact that the roof and hood see most of the sun

Minus the other small things I want done, just to fix whats wrong was quoted at $1,400. Chemical strip on the hood and roof, grind out the rust, use a rust inhibitor, and refinish.

I'm sure you could do it for less, but this is being done at a shop. Not someone's garage. I'm obviously not gonna get a cheap deal.

Use a wire wheel yourself to take the paint off?
Might take the cost down a little bit. Not sure if it will be as good as the stripper, but it should do a fairly deccent job.
