It begins again.... Builden it

X2 on the shackle, your springs will perform better w/longer. You will likely need shorter spring packs although, you could experiment with removing a leaf.

Ya ill pry remove one of the leafs in the lift spring.

Question? Shipping for front fenders is 280 bucks.... is that normal. Im shipping from Alabama to florida. 280 bucks i might as well drive to alabama

They are most likely drop shipped from Hannemann, because that is exactly what Hannemann quoted me to ship them to Tn. I'm probably going to pick mine up direct when I drive out to SoCal for Christmas, My grandma lives 20 min away from Hannemann.

Folded in the rear fenders and cut the front. Removed front and rear bumper. Still going through the underbody looking for rust. Found a couple spots that will need to be patched.

Man my control arm angles are insanely bad. I removed the 2inch spacer and got it back down to 6inchs and it still really bad. I think my front axle is titled back...

The deathwobble was really bad today.

With the money from the tires. I plan on drop brackets+HD trac bar bracket and traction bar. and any extra money left over will go towards frame stiffening!

Shit son, I remember you now. i wheeled with you a few times down in fl before i moved up to NC. Ha, imagine that. Yea, remember the old jeep you had. didnt you cut it up pretty good?

sweet now i get to spend 600 bucks pulling the engine and replacing motor mounts.

Thankyou death wobble thanks!

Be thankful that the bosses on the block didn't break, or you would be in for a new engine too. That is why we run the T&J's engine mounts - those 3 bolts just don't do it.

mine did the same thing! i never yanked the motor though i bought a 90 degree drill adapter and got a short drill bit and some ez outs! took about a hour for all three!

got the motor mount fixed and both motor mount bushings replaced.

Found out that it actually cracked the shaft on the distributor as well.

Worked on the steering more. There is so much play in the traction bar TRE frame side.

and the drag link is the same so much play.

Trying to get my hands on a RE traction bar with the HD mount. And then the drop brackets to install next week.

had a bunch of trouble replacing the TRE connecting to Pitman today. It was insanely loose so got it swapped out after hours of beating on the pitman arm to remove the broken bolt.

took the heep off road in a house development that never got built. the cleared all the land and layed all the dirt out for the pads. what is sweet is the the pads are all raised so can litteraly go for at least 2 miles just going from pad to pad up and down nice little section. Got it up to about 70 in the dirt and it wasnt doing bad. Need to upgrade shocks for sure.
