Internet phone usage

That isnt too bad at all. It breaks down to roughly the equivalent of one mp3 per day if that is easier to visualize.
I would have to guess many people use far more than that.
 
Today is the last day on my bill and I used 5.3455GB of data and 10.94531mb of roaming data.

Then my wife used 394.93848mb of data data and 9.68848 of roaming data.


Last month
Me: 3.27352GB
Her: 14.0569GB

I'm on my phone a lot and i use 3-4gb........................14 is insane! :eek:
 
Yeah, she tried to send an email and it kept trying for a few days :shock: It was 12gb the month before that.... I was really surpised to see it that high too!!!! She really doesn't use it for much. I wish I could see what the phone was accessing....

Does she tether? That is a ton of data! Unless downloading songs or movies I don't see how that is even possible? What phone does she have?
 
WTF? Thats a poop load of data for a phone, is she tethering?

Verizons "unofficial cap" is 5Gb/Month on a phone. After that they supposedly throttle you, if it continues for an "extended period" you may be subject to additional fees.

No teathering... We both have the Sprint EVO with the unlimted plan. Now I teather every once in a while... She did have her laptop crash during that period so she was on more than normal till I fixed the laptop...

I do probably 50 emails a day from my iphone and am no where close to that data usuage. I would assume there is something odd going on. Email uses almost no data unless your doing huge attachments!

I'm confused. It looked like Sean was talking about VOIP data usage, but it looks like some are talking about their smart phone data usage.

So what does Sean use for phone service? U-verse, Skype?

It may take up twice the bandwidth, but those are virtual "kittens" on display ;)

Yes, McGyver, Porn can be the other woman. However, unless your Wife is a Born Again, if your Wife finds you with Porn you probably won't end up looking for another place to live ;)

I would bet Sean never get's his question answered ;)
 
Ah, I see...'Wisconsin envy ;)

In reality, Wi-Fi isn't free here. Where I do save is using the household network instead of AT&T whenever I'm home. There are also some businesses that have free Hotspots which I take advantage of.

Not sue how much data I do use, but I don't use this as my primary data source because the screen is so small :)
