I tossed mine, it didn't make much of a difference except when small rocks get tossed from the tires they make much more noise now. I wash mine as soon as I can when I get back from wheeling so mud or grime is never an issue.

You beat me to the pool noodle tip.

It really depends how clean you want it to look. You can reproduce the stock look by relocating the mounts or just say screw it and throw in 1/2 a noodle on each side :dunce:

has any body tried expanding spray foam together with a pool noodle ?

I had thought about that... I jsut have the pool noodles with the rubberized undercoat spray all over the fender wells.
