In the middle of a locker install....Need Help!

How do I get the carrier out of a Dana 44? I have the bearing caps off and axles out but it won't budge.

Take a rag and put it in between the ring and pinion. Turn the pinion and the carrier will pop out.

I tried the rag trick, still not out. I can only turn the pinion a little bit.

Put a pipe wrench on that flange!

You did get the shafts out right?

axle shafts are out. 1 shreaded rag. I guess I need to go heavier duty

still nothing. Can I unbolt the ring gear in the dif so I can get the pinion shaft out that way?

Take some rope loop it around carrier then attach it to a comealong and attach the other end of the come along to the bumper or hitch and just crank it out tell it pops out and watch your hands both times I helped my friend do it it shot out onto the ground.
