Aww damnit the aints won again. You'd better keep me against them, 'cause the second I turn around and say "you know what? this year we might win!" we're destined to lose.
you know thats true, you keeping hating them and maybe...

Had excellent seats at the Colts game today. Too bad I forgot the camera.

Also too bad they only squeeked the game out by 1.

A win is a win...

Drove in the parade today. 1 1/2 of 2 miles an hour, only rocks is site were those wierd little compacted ones cover is black stuff.

3.55 with 33's is a little too much for even my Drivin' Miss Daisy style.

one bush needs to. one helluva first touchdown for him. the old saints would have given it up that last 14 seconds.

where did you find that pic Gil?
OK here is the WHOLE story...
I wanted to leave at noon Friday, That damn thing called work kept me busy untill two O'clock!
We traded in the pick up and fifth wheel for a motor home and a car hauler two weeks ago, more on tha t later....
The turn signals did not work on the car hauler when we went to leave.
"Bring it in in Monday, we will look at it then!"
I had the moter home and trailer in the street on the phone with the dealer "cutting wires and making grounds".
It was Homecomming footbal day and a radio station was doing a live remote from one of the bars and I was lying under the BRAND NEW TRAILER" with my feet sticking out into the street.
I called the dealer and told the I am bringing it in TODAY an you will fix it TODAY....
Well we were on the road at 5:00 PM.
We got to Moab on Sunday around 5:00 PM
It rained Tuesday, about 2 inches our MWC "Spike, spider, rim" run was ended by lightning and rian.
Wednesday we ran Kane creek, normaly a moderate run that can be done in a stock Jeep.
We started with 16 in the group and all but 4 turned around.
Mark, Vegas Anthony, JKTXJLMONP, and us are the only ones who finished it!
It was a fun trail with the wash outs and "new trails".
Thursday we ran Pritchet Canyon, and behind he rocks backwards, GOOD TIME!
Friday we did nothing, it rained another 2 inches!
Moab only gets 5 inches of rain in a year, all of it this week!
Saturday we tried to run Hells revenge, but it was flooded and we could not get to it, in the Fall Fling fourm, there shold be pics of Israel and one other guy who tried to cross the water and did not make it.
We left Sunday headed to Rapid City to meet my folks.
In Fort Collins the jeep came off the trailer!
We didn't even know it untill someone pulled up along side and told us that it fell of 4 MILES BACK!
THANK GOD we were on a local road on the way to a campground for the night and not on the Intersate!
I checked the straps three times since we lft Moab an they were tight every time!
We turned around and found it sitting in a parking lot, just like it was parked there!
I was one lucky SOB!
All four straps were still on the trailer, I have no idea how it happened!
I am glad it did not hit an oncomming car, of a pedestrian, we were in Ft. Collins when it happend!

I am now on my third Rum and Coke and relaxed.

Planning on seeing "Minni-Jeff" on the way home.

Note to self,
there is no such thing as TOO MANY straps!
We will hook the winch cable to the trailer in the morning before we leave!
My junk will have it's rear wheels in the air, the winch will be so tight.
At least the Bears won today!!!!

When Aaron and I arrived at Disney this past July, we unstrapped the Jeep and it rolled off the trailer. The transfer case had come out of gear and it was sitting on the trailer in neutral. I had this picture of this green/black beach ball bouncing down Interstate 44 ... we had been running 75-80 MPH getting there with it like that.

Sure am glad to hear you were lucky Sean ... that could have been a bad accident. Good idea about using the winch cable.

Les

I had a chain binder jump off of the back of my cj-5 when going over an overpass one day. I hit a bump, looked in the rearview and saw the binder bounce then flop loose. There was no engine in the jeep, and no brakes yet. I carefully put the truck in neutral and coasted to a stop from 80 mph

I was very very lucky.

f'ing steelers.
Dropped a third game.
Defense went conservative in the seond half. I went to bed in the 3rd quarter knowing the outcome.

John is wearing shorts and a hawaiian while Mark is wearing jeans and a fleece jacket...

The chick at the front of the line has a nice pewper.

I'm in the red behind this guy. (I think) Lost my first mirror and bunched up the left fender on a hard entry. Is this hole part of the MWC initiation process??

Damn, that's a sweet-azz bumper.
Soon to be available from OKfab?

I just remember the hole and all the "guiding hands." and the sound a fender makes when your tire makes a modification! The weekends kind of blend together when you get to be my age!

Don't know about exact dates. Wasn't sure.
