Where can I get a fancy shirt like that?
where did you find that pic Gil?
OK here is the WHOLE story...
I wanted to leave at noon Friday, That damn thing called work kept me busy untill two O'clock!
We traded in the pick up and fifth wheel for a motor home and a car hauler two weeks ago, more on tha t later....
The turn signals did not work on the car hauler when we went to leave.
"Bring it in in Monday, we will look at it then!"
I had the moter home and trailer in the street on the phone with the dealer "cutting wires and making grounds".
It was Homecomming footbal day and a radio station was doing a live remote from one of the bars and I was lying under the BRAND NEW TRAILER" with my feet sticking out into the street.
I called the dealer and told the I am bringing it in TODAY an you will fix it TODAY....
Well we were on the road at 5:00 PM.
We got to Moab on Sunday around 5:00 PM
It rained Tuesday, about 2 inches our MWC "Spike, spider, rim" run was ended by lightning and rian.
Wednesday we ran Kane creek, normaly a moderate run that can be done in a stock Jeep.
We started with 16 in the group and all but 4 turned around.
Mark, Vegas Anthony, JKTXJLMONP, and us are the only ones who finished it!
It was a fun trail with the wash outs and "new trails".
Thursday we ran Pritchet Canyon, and behind he rocks backwards, GOOD TIME!
Friday we did nothing, it rained another 2 inches!
Moab only gets 5 inches of rain in a year, all of it this week!
Saturday we tried to run Hells revenge, but it was flooded and we could not get to it, in the Fall Fling fourm, there shold be pics of Israel and one other guy who tried to cross the water and did not make it.
We left Sunday headed to Rapid City to meet my folks.
In Fort Collins the jeep came off the trailer!
We didn't even know it untill someone pulled up along side and told us that it fell of 4 MILES BACK!
THANK GOD we were on a local road on the way to a campground for the night and not on the Intersate!
I checked the straps three times since we lft Moab an they were tight every time!
We turned around and found it sitting in a parking lot, just like it was parked there!
I was one lucky SOB!
All four straps were still on the trailer, I have no idea how it happened!
I am glad it did not hit an oncomming car, of a pedestrian, we were in Ft. Collins when it happend!
I am now on my third Rum and Coke and relaxed.
Planning on seeing "Minni-Jeff" on the way home.
