It's snowing here now. Its about damned time, I can't stand cold unless you get the pretty white stuff. It makes driving more fun too.

Same way I feel, I can't stand the cold unless it's at least snowing a little bit. Now... if it could snow and be about 50 or 60... then I might enjoy the snow a lot more. I just hate cold. Not sure if it's snowing yet or not because I'm sitting in class with no windows... I'll tell ya, these presentations get boring and repetitive after a while.

Hey now, I'll have none of that suffering business for me. Besides, the prof actually tells me to breing my laptop in case his crashes. So you know, I just sort of make sure the computer is warmed up. And while I'm at it "research" a little bit. After sitting through about 5 hours of presentations you start to zone out, especially since I did mine already. Also, I get all my papers in on time and I'm doing an internship with him next semester so I'm on his good side.

Well, if it makes you feel any better this is the only class I don't suffer through. On the other hand, the others are much more interesting. This class is soc research methods. But... now it's off to work so I can afford my toys.

a Southwest airplane didn't have enough runway to stop at our Midway Airport in Chicago. 9.1 inches of snow. problem is, this airport is smack dab in the city. one square mile. ended up going through the barrier and out onto Central Avenue. hit at least one car. that is a real short runway. Those who use the airport compare it to a Aircraft Carrier.

unfortunately a 6 yr old boy was killed. not on the plane though, in a vehicle.
