I need a better employer.

I get to leave Saturday, and do a two week remote from the ass crack of the US.

Long Beach,CA. I get to see all the great sites, like the crack whores, ignorant Californians, Moronic tourists. And of course the lovely scenery. A dumpy old boat, the multi-color smog, and the oil refinery cracking towers.

Sounds more like Signal Hill and San Pedro.

When I think LB... The best regatta venue south of SF Bay, Alamitos Bay, Alamitos Bay YC, Two Street, Seal Beach, The Village, US Amada, Triple E, etc...

The best thing about LB is Long Beach YC. The best dinner in town, Havanas, and double Stoli martinis for a buck.

Acutally, I'm staying at a hotel I never have before. The last time it was one overlooking the QM, but I got the other side and I could see freeway and a cracking tower.

Usually, when I am out on these stupid projects, I barely get enough time to grab McPuke's, and get some sleep and a shower before I have to be back at work.

Well the weekend is here and have a couple of things that I can do. My wedding anniversary is on Sunday and my engine got here yesterday. So I can either take the weekend to put my engine and axle in or spend the weekend with the wifey? Tough pick. I will take wrenching instead.

But then again, I have to live with her everyday so I had better spend the time with her. She can hang out in the garage and help out. LOL!!

well the deal is - it has to be shorter than the stock one that I had...

and i have a 4.0 / ax-15 / 231

which is shorter than the 4.0 / aw4 / auto

that said - if the CV joint is good, ill take it from you, shorten it myself and call it good

i ahve warn lockouts on the front end so it only spins when im crawling...

Irregardless of OT's intention, be carefull about what terminology you use for any part on your Jeep. It can lead to getting the wrong or an inferior part.

It is particularly important when you're giving tech advice as it often leads to SPOBI.
