Important

One of my favorites is Dog-N-Suds Root Beer.

Now that is good in a frosty mug and brought to you by a young lady!

Looks like I need to look for some root beer recipes! It has to be easier than brewing real beer...

Walter Payton (Estate of) has a restaurant in Aurora.

it is called The Roundhouse. It is actually a remodeled Railroad Roundhouse.

They have a micro-brewery and they also brew Rootbeer.

(they also have a special section for cigar smokers Rev)

Very good food and very gooood rootbeer.

Free beer, Free beer
Thats my favorite brand,
If I didn't have to buy it it is the best beer in the land.
Warm flat or funky,
It don't matter to me,
The greatest beer in this whole world is the one you buy for me!

you must not have had the "free" Busch light

turns out that KEG was bought a week beforehand and alloud to cool...

even after 3 beers i could still taste it - and there were guys there that were on beer 11 and 12 that still attested that it was the worst beer they had ever tasted...

personaly- ill stick to Wild Cherry Pepsi and designated driving... (gives me an excuse - i am a light weight - 2 beers and im done)

Be honest, EVREYONE to Les is young!
Everyone to "Les" is about the same age as me in my mind ... except maybe Rev. :laugh3:

When I was a teen, there was a Dog-N-Suds drive-in in town. On Sundays after Church, M&D would stop and pick up a gallon of Root Beer to take home. There was seven of us that shared that gallon. I cannot imagine how Mom stretched that Root Beer that far back then ... but I can imagine why she did not want to park there and drink it with all of us in the car.

Ahh, the old Arf and Barf, or Mut N Foam. Used to love their coney dogs!
That was my favorite too ... with cheeze.

I'll not forget a lady that worked there during the day ... before the young girls got out of school. She had these outrageous buck teeth ... I mean the kind that would almost stick straight out between her lips. We called her Snaggle Puss ... not to her face though. :laugh3:

Big thunder boomers rolling through the area tonight. Lots of lightning, kinda neat to watch sometimes. Lotsa rain too. Nothing like a good thunder storm and a cold beer from the root. AAhhhhhh!

Hour covered.

I'm sitting at work listening to the thunder. Damn I need a beer.

You guys are slack'in big time.....

has the lightning and thunder knocked out the power.....

I have my work cut out for me this afternoon... recovering all the patio furniture from the muddy depths of my back yard. That was some wind last night!
