New house w all kinds of shit to do and I am flying north every weekend. I would love two days at this point.....two weekends left including this one until family joins me.

This would be my dream schedule but I doubt many places have it. It really boils down to that money for me. With another baby coming I can't afford a pay cut of any sort. Wife and i started talking about maybe sticking with nights there. 4 10s at night give me fri sat and sunDAY off still. Like I said the robotics knowledge is really what I'm interested in. We'll see.
I pick up the broom and clean shop when I'm stupid board but for the most part the guys in the day shift that trash the place don't ever clean up so I leave their mess for them. They work all over the shop on 3 different tables trashing everything. I usually stick to my tool box unless I'm welding or using the plasma cutter. I clean after myself and go about my business.
I've been working nights alone(maintenance wise) for 9 months now and there is 6 guys on days I feel little pity for them and often if I have nothing to do I sit in my office playing sudoku.

Yup, family is still in Louisville until school is out. Frequent flyer miles adding up.
Lol I can go about 6 months before feeling the need to go home.
