Stage one of led light install.
36 fixtures rewired (no more ballasts) in the big side of the garage. One led light in each fixture as two lights was insane. Two fixtures are unplugged to see the tv. Stage one cost about $350.
Stage two is 8 fixtures (4 bulb that will get two bulbs) in the small garage.
Stage three is the 14 perimeter lights in the big garage.

The day our kids moved out was the happiest day of my life. Now I can watch TV in my underwear, walk to the kitchen to get coffee in the morning naked, and everything is exactly the way I left it when I get home. Oh, and no more being quiet when "doing it".

The trick for getting stuff done around the house with only a 2 day weekend is to do the work during the week. That way you can still relax on the weekends, be advised this may piss the ole lady off...

Speaking of getting shit done. I'm pulling up 3 different layers of peel and stick tile right now in my kitchen they put a 1/4 plywood layer in between the top layer and the bottom two using more staples than a botched over seas gender transformation surgery. Such a pain in the ass to get the kitchen and living room level.
