Just watched a guy throw a bag of dog food from his grocery cart into his truck and ripped it open. Half the dog food on the parking lot the other half inside the cart. He ended up with an empty bag in the back of his truck. I laughed....
 
So at the beginning of the new year work decided we needed a new scheduling system. The thing is automated, problem is it's got a mind of its own. It's dropping 500 hours a day on us saying it's past due and it's not due till August if you look at the system. Then every few hours it drops a whole new schedule on us. Upper management doesn't want to believe us that its not working correctly. So we get yelled at everyday. They are convinced that its the best thing sliced bread. Mean while I wasted a whole night last night trying to fix my work load for the night so we can be on time for the week in my area. Got told off for it to.... So my response is you have hired 10 poeple to make this work. I don't understand how it's that hard to release work when it gets ordered. We build custom machines for airports and the military. I think a 4 grader could figure this out. Long story short after getting yelled at for about 30 minutes this morning I got a bonus.
