So advanced doesn't have a nation wide warranty information system. You need the receipt if something is purchased at one store and you want to do a warranty exchange at another.

Trying to work on a warranty exchange for radiator I bought in Harlan in July.....Guess I will stick to autozone from now on.

and the store you bought it from only retains warranty information for 2 years. so even at the same store you gotta have a receipt for that "lifetime" warranty.

yup I just assumed that since they put my name and number in that fancy computer my info would be nationwide.

last time I had to buy a radiator in harlan was at an advanced.

take a photo of the receipt and email it to yourself.

AAP is awful at warranty stuff. Tim is correct, your store can call Harlan to have them run your info. It doesn't help that APAL hasn't been updated for over 10 years...

I have been ordering online and picking up in store, that way the warranty info is retained on the website. I ordered a fan clutch for my XJ from the top of the mountain and Kim picked it up for me :D

Also that must have been a junk radiator if you are already having to replace it.
 
I need to watch myself with all this baby making going around....

Ive had advance warranty parts out of state. Its a hassle, but at least theyre everywhere, and half the time they just warranty it without looking it up.
 
I hope we will be drinking the water later on (never know what is in store), right now it is nice with one. Congrats, a babies smile and laugh changes your whole world.
