Important

Went on a bike run this morning. There were over 170 bikes all the money went to Manteo veteran home,I'm not sure how much was brought in yet.

John we went right down 50 over by you. I looked around to see if you were out driving .

Last year I did a bike ride that had over 250 motorcycles. It was only a few miles but was for a special reason. There was a teenager who died who loved motorcycles. Her uncle put out a plea for motorcycles to escort her home. Bikes from as far away as Ohio and Kentucky showed up and took up three city blocks. It was amazing. They had a memorial ride this year but they only had about 20 bikes and the city was being jerks about the ride. They wanted money to use a shelter for an hour since it was a memorial ride. The money was going to go towards charity (Ronald McDonald House). I will be helping next years planning for the ride and will be avoiding city parks as a start point.

This was the story for the original ride.

Looks good, Sean!

Garage sales were not worth the trouble for us. Got something that's worth $10 for sale for a buck, people want it for a quarter.
Rather donate it and take the tax deduction.

i actually hate garage sales with a passion, but this one wound up being slow enough that i could get some work done in the garage while it was happening. plus when it was over, i got a message from a guy who has a junk store who came and took everything we didn't want ...made about $20 an hour for the 7 hours we were open so i have a little gas money for the rental truck. that should get me halfway there lol. starting to get down to the crappy part of packing. that time when you've packed most of the stuff that goes together and now have a bunch of random crap left that you have no idea how to organize...

So out of curiosity I looked up local jeep dealer and found this nice WK. Its a 3.0 diesel, 77K on the odometer. I am going to try and take it for a drive tuesday and hope I can get a loan

I have a local that has been bugging me about selling my Dodge chore truck. If I sell it, I am heavily thinking about drinking the LJ kool-aid. There are a few in TX that have caught my eye and are rust free!

When I lived in FL we did tge "Friday Night Ride" every, well Friday. We would meet at the Bayou Pub and roll out at 7:00 PM. There was anywhere from 100 to 300 bikes every time. It got so none of us would even stop for red lights, just kept rolling. It was quite a sight.

Off to AZ today to look at lots of lots.

Good luck!
We have changed our area of focus from NW Fl. to S.E Alabama. Baldwin County to be exact. The land is almost 1/2 the price and the population density is much lower. We will be looking at land when we go down in October.

we attempted 220 hp AWD donuts, but Volvo is no fun.

The Denali had the 6.2 in it and was AWD, it was a fun one in the snow :D It just didn't look as cool as a BMW wagon would rippin' shitties in the snow though!

i miss having a turbo subie in the snow for donuts...sometimes if you hit a patch of slick road when getting on the highway when the turbo was spooled you were going to have a bad time

the insane thing is that the bmw has as much HP as a 6.2L v8 denali, but like half the weight.

I want to flog it. josh says it's super quick.

well its official, they accepted our offer on the lake house! Now the fun of waiting on the closing date and getting a material list for the repairs.

Speaking of awd donuts.

We need to race these at winter fest.

1/18th scale. Quick. legit suspension.
I got a VXL slash. Bigger, and technically not mine but since im the mechanic for it i get to beat it to death too. I say race on, if we can get a bunch of random RCs

I have been thinking the same thing. So much room to fit the shopping bags.

Nice rubicon on 35s local for under 15k

I need to do the intake valve cleaning and swap out the intercooler for a 7" piece and then it will be a traction problem.

I'm seeing 15 psi on the datalog, but it stumbles when the valve timing kicks in. Direct injection means no fuel wash on the intake valve, so carbon.

The bigger intercooler doesn't drop the temps much, but it gives the boost consistent volume.

I'm pretty sure you can fit a N54 in a XJ. It has a transfer case.

That moment when you get a wedding invitation and realize that Collin is not a 16 yr old kid with an abnormally deep voice anymore and is all grown up. Damn, I feel old......
