Important

I let Lar drive all of the time.
When we drive the Fusion because she keeps the seat too far forward and when I have been over served or because I just don't feel like driving.
She is a good driver.

I don't know about that, last time I rode with you all and she was driving I had to throw up immediately upon arrival at the destination....

I can only sleep in a car when I'm driving.

mac 'can't sleep on planes either' gyvr

found a flood vehicle 2007 JKU, motor is locked.......sounds like a good donor for LS swap!

I try to let my wife drive on some of the long trips we make when i start to nod off...but then I can't sleep. I'm pretty sure she couldn't drive in a straight line on railroad tracks. She has a great driving record and is pretty safe, but when you close your eyes it feels like you are on a boat. If I can fall asleep before we leave the rest area, I'll be good...but that rarely happens.

well I got an interview with the sheet metal workers union Thursday. it looks like a hell of a pay cut but I think it will make up for it in benefits. my current benefits are terrible and expensive and in a few years ill be back to making what I make now and ill have a better chance at retirement.

guaranteed raises, a pension and retirement investments are all reasons i am keeping my fingers crossed with the new job. i really don't want to move again, but $25k more to start, government retirement and health benefits sound pretty damn good to me. Good benefits and the promise of a decent retirement (or actually being able to retire at all for that matter) makes up for a lot

Anybody have a sand blast cabinet? Dad is looking to buy one to use to restore his 1961 cub cadet tractor but don't know which one is a decent one to get. So many different ones out there.

I have the HF unit, it was what I used on the C10 restoration. Works good, just make sure u have good water traps in line.

That's what I told him to go with. Did you have to buy anything else with it besides the cabinet?

Ben your dad told me he was scared the HF would blow sand all over the place.

mac 'he sounds like ben too' gyvr

Yea he talked to me today about hf unit. Told him I'm sure we could seal it up and it work just fine for what he is gonna use it for

Ben, it was surprisingly a clean unit, I would find very little escaped sand.

Nate, I agree. With an ls swap very little factory electronics would be used, convert to a simple manual operation type rig...but still lots vested in it. Im just window shopping for the time being.

Put a good shop vac on it to suck out the dust and you won't have much dust, this worked for me.
