Didn't you just buy a house? The Iowa job would mean selling and buying. That may be a deciding factor right there.

we did over 2 years ago, but the house here isn't worth much...and won't really build any equity unfortunately. our house could rent for $1000-1200 here and our mortgage is currently only $659 a month (no thats not a typo). home prices are still dropping here so rental would be the way to go currently. there are a lot of factors at play here, but honestly the house is pretty low on the list. no matter what if they make the offer its going to be a really tough choice. there is a lot of opportunity that exists in Iowa that doesn't here in wny, but i do really like this area out here. outside of the 60% increase there would also be a significantly better benefits package that includes a pension and 401k plus other pre tax investment options. all i have now is a pretty weak 401k...

the new job opportunity here has a big strike against it in that they told me it would be nearly impossible to make it full time. it would mean working at my current job and working part time as an instructor at the local community college...but it would be teaching classes that i really want to teach. it would just mean long weeks during school times...

again...at the moment, there isn't an official offer on the table anywhere, so i'm trying not to think about it too much.

Next door pit bull jumped the fence and attacked my dog. He has a couple of puncture wounds. I have to take him to the vet in the am and then over to see ACO. Neighbors are going to hate the fact that they lied to her in January. This will now give that dog a second attack .

The attacking dog wouldn't have had a chance at a second chance if it had attacked my dog. Neighbors would have been burying it.

no. I'm getting a P0190 and P0191 code that are both fuel pressure sensor codes. so far I've replaced the fuel pressure sensor, fuel pump modulator driver, and fuel filter. the pump kits on and primes just fine then it starts up rough and as soon as I give it any throttle it bogs down and dies.
I'm wondering if it's a timing issue that stemmed from my cam phasers or a wiring issue in the fuel system?

I don't know much about what you have going on but the turning over and over and not starting issue that the EX was having appears to be fixed with the fuel pump replacement and fuel pump relay being replaced.

What's your fuel pressure at?

that's my next step. my cheap scanner wont tell me and it doesn't have a valve that I know of to manually check it

makes you wonder how rust gets into a plastic tank with a return less system.

do these pumps have screens?

rust got in because the filler neck and vent have a section that is metal where it attaches to the body...and until I bought the truck it was a Michigan truck. There there are two short hoses that run to the tank.

At least on the EX.

I replaced all of it and cleaned the tank out.

With 156k miles on it and 16 years old, I could justify the fuel pump replacement whether it fixed the problem or not.

Other things I found while researching the EX. If your battery is marginal or junk, that can cause issues. I also read where folks had mass air flow sensors that were bad and could cause issues.

my wj doesn't have a schrader valve either, but usually parts stores will have the part to run a pressure tester in line on the incoming fuel line to the rail.

I believe most autozones have this guy, which should be able to be run in line if you want to check it before pulling the pump
