Finally found out whats going on. Has to do with one of our employees. Last week he attempted to commit suicide cuz he did something wrong with a family member. Tried coming to work on monday and they sent him away. Then today HR went and terminated him. Corporate is just taking precautions incase he decided to retaliate. Guy was weird to begin with but never thought that weird.

Rust repair on the little jeep today.

Pulled the windshield yesterday then had too many beers to continue. I'm going to try to stay away from the beer till afternoon today.

The one week a year I decide to take a full week of vacation at one time, and it is scheduled to rain almost the whole time. Oh well, its better than sitting in the office. I planned on pouring some concrete 2 of those days...

It may be sunny and beautiful out because weathermen and politicians are the only two jobs you can be a liar daily and keep your job.

ordered two different packages from summit shipped from the same warehouse...one is coming via fed ex and left yesterday morning, the other left late last night via ups.

one of them hit buffalo last night and may be here by the end of the day...one of them went to 3 different locations in ohio yesterday and another in PA this morning and is still 2 business days out most likely (still has to get to the local hub)

guess which is which


one of them is a cheap trailer hitch for the WJ that was $85 with free shipping. I will use it for this coming trip, then take the WJ to the dealer to get it replaced with a fatory hitch and get a $100 gift card. A little bit of run around, but I need a hitch for this trip asap and they ones at junkyards here all look like swiss cheese

not on wjs...thats zj's only.

for wj's the recall goes like this:

1. if you have a factory installed hitch...you get a free inspection
2. if you have no hitch...you get nothing
3. if you have an installed aftermarket hitch, they remove it and install a factory hitch in its place and give you a $100 gift card.

its nothing like the zj recall. if i got a free hitch, i would already have had it put on. my black wj already had an aftermarket installed so it will get cut off ill get a brand new hitch and a $100 gift card. the new silver wj has nothing, so i bought a cheap 3500lb hitch to get me by for this trip. when i take it in, it gets replaced with the factory 5000lb hitch with the cut out bumper and since the hitch I bought was $85, ill still make $15 and get a better hitch.

The wj recall is due to after market hitches being too low (to clear the bumper) and in rear end collisions they get pushed directly into the tank instead of riding above it. i'm not goofy...chrylser is goofy
