vacation bound in t-minus 6 hours......and I honestly would rather stay around the farm and get some things tied up, but I guess we are "making memories" so I am told......

Don't freak out. Read about it.

Treat, pick out the nits, wash the stuff that she contacts. Lice can't live without a human host for more than 24 hours. You don't need to wash the house.

Yea 1st thing I did was research. I never had them so I didn't know much about it. My wife on the other had lost her shit. Good thing she had to go to work so I could handle the situation alone.

The hard part is she's only 3(not even) so telling her to sit there for a couple hours while I comb her hair doesn't work that great. As soon as a find a not she moves and I loose it

Now I wait for the wife to get home so we can check each other. Not sure if we have them or not. We don't have any itching but the kid sleeps in our bed alot

Same day. I didn't have any, but cut my hair anyways, which is easy because of the job. The boys had a few, but I cut their hair and treated them. Olivia took forever with her long hair. She was pretty awesome for like 6 hours sitting in a chair.

The wife had nits, but no mature lice, so we killed them with a treatment and we were up until 0200 making sure they were gone. She's the one giving Olivia a bath and combing her hair, so we figure that's how it got transferred.

All the bedding got washed, then we washed the next night and swapped bedding for a few nights to make sure there wasn't anything hanging around.

You have to do another treatment in 7-10 days. If you don't kill an egg it will be a lice in a week, laying eggs again.

Made it to just outside of Nashville. Hotels are scarce bc of graduation.....on to Florida tomorrow.

Last year I planned on getting hotels for vacation on the way home from it, got the one for New Orleans easy (ended up just outside of NOLA) but when I tried to get a room in Nashville, everything was filled. Ended up at the four points by Sheraton because they had a room left in the Nashville area and everything else was filled up. Apparently there was a few conventions going on. While nice, for 180 a night, there wasn't even breakfast included in it (enjoyed room service for breakfast though, expensive).
