a genuine honda motor goes for $300.

i've never touched the one at my in laws, and that's saying something, because i fix the tractor, the scag and everything else. The only thing it's ever needed was the gel cell start battery replaced.

I hate their scag.
a 7K mower that needed $500 in redesigned deck parts to not eat a $150 belt twice a season.

scag wasn't interested in fixing it under goodwill, just told my father in law to buy the redesigned parts if he wanted to fix the problem.
