Fully agree and as long as they are paying me I'm going to keep working whenever the boss tells me to. I'm here right now as a matter of fact. With the degree coming and currently earning that experience I will search for that perfect job. I got the rest of my life to find it.
I'm not even sure I want to stay in the industrial maintenance field, I may explore other options my degree aims me in.

My degree is call electrical /electronic technology and I took specialized classes for renewable energy. 1 math class that I'm in right now and should have the paper in May.

The 63yr old was working maintenance for a factory that just closed their doors. I am not mad that they hired him. It must have been scary being in his shoes looking for a job. I'm proud of my boss for doing it. I just don't know why they gave him days over me if he was hired 3 months after me.



Swing shift helps. Working 2 off 2 isn't to bad. But I'll still bitch and moan about being nights.
 
Going to class still brings the suck also. I woke up at 1pm this afternoon so I could get ready for school and what not and I won't get to bed until about 8:30am. That's a pretty long day.

I kind of miss working nights. Oh well, I'm just happy to have a job these days. It's still tough out there, and no none is entitled to jack; this world doesn't owe any one a thing. If you want stuff to happen, you have to go out and open those doors, and you have to go out and find that opportunity.

I'm not gonna complain about work, I'll just complain about the taxes I pay, its ridiculous.

I should go back to stripping but them old lady's were getting too grabby. and the panties that were getting thrown on stage you could house a whole African village in them.
 
just use them to give to the "donate a coat" program....just cut a head hole in them and the arm holes are already there.....like a fashionable vest so to speak.

dont you hate how one person acting like a giant **** can ruin your day. i was walking around all happy thinking of little African children walking around with half shirts made of granny panties, talked to a guy here that didn't like the news i brought so he literately kick the floor like he was a kid who didn't get a cookie.
 
funny, I just told an entire volvo forum that I was taking my tech elsewhere because one guy is a dick and everyone worships him.

He doesn't ever give out tech though, just snarky half answers.

and my thread had the most views on that forum in the last 6 months. it's on it's way to being dead.

So no, i don't have my day ruined anymore, i just take my ball and go home, because my ball is better than most.

So he got upset, why do you let that bother you? Not like he tried to kick you, just the poor floor.

p.s. a cookie sounds good right about now.
