That is nice! I need to put a ceiling in my garage, I was going to use OSB but I like that a lot better. A lighting upgrade is planned too, 4 60w bulbs doesn't light up 40x40 very well when :repair:

HA! The only light I have in my 40x60 shop is from the door opener.
That is this spring's project.

50-4ft light fixtures in the big side of my garage.

That's 100 light bulbs.

I'm tired of replacing bulbs and ballast's going bad.

I'm thinking I could cut the number of fixtures in half with LEDs.

Question about the tin interior, has anybody experienced condensation buildup during the summer months or during the heating season? I have a 90+ house furnace in my garage now so I would never be concerned with a condensation problem from that, but if you're heating with kerosene, that puts off a lot of condensation.

Thinking aloud.

Going 4' leds from Sams Club in my shop over the winter. About $40ish for one, will have 15-20 of them when done. Should help the dungeon feel

I looked at those...a lot. Every week when I go in there. Can' you flush mount them? I was looking at them and I don't think you can.

Just can't pull the trigger on new fixtures with all the ones I have in the ceiling already, think bulbs and wiring around the ballasts is going to be the way for me to go. Prolly going to start with a section of 10 fixtures and see how long that takes me to get done.

I will be using a ventless heater ran off natural gas. They say these put out condensation. I think the biggest issue is when the room isn't ventilated well enough.

That is one of my next questions that I'll have that I think seanr will have an answer for me on. Just gotta get some measurements and pictures first.

We have a work room that has the tin ceiling. Its too low (7' ish). But that stuff echoes sound really badly of you are running something noisy in there. We run form cleaning tools in it and I have to use muffs over plugs to keep from getting a headache from being in there for more than a couple of minutes.

My dad had a ventless gas heater in his shop and a tin ceiling. It never condensated?, but the area above it turned brown from the residue. We took it out and now has a vented furnace.

I've gotta work on the garage this spring. only one outlet on the walls work and there are only 4 60w bulbs on the ceiling its all drywall and paneling so ill probably rip it all out re do the wiring and walls and add more lights. the rest of the house is LED so ill go that route when its redone.

gotta look into the city's code shit. i would like to attach a shed for all the yard tools and kids bikes and crap to keep them outta the way for parking and jeep work.

Im not sure if they can be mounted flat or not. Retrofitting is the best way with as many as you have but if buying new just get the Sams/Costco ones. Good thread on them over in the shop tool section on Pbb4x

Wow just got a couple prices for different sizes tanks for my welder. Wasn't expecting them to be that expensive.

you just need to get about 1/2 a semi load worth and call Sean and I when you are ready for us to come get it.....

I just tossed 40 tons last month of various shit that had piled up over the past two years before I got here. Bunch of different panels.

Found this on Craigslist the other night, the first XJ I ever owned... received it in a trade. It would be good to beat on at WF... 4.5" lift on 32s, ARB front bumper, trying to remember if it had sway bar disconnects or not..
