That's awesome. Congrats. Where exactly are you stationed at? I know its on the east coast somewhere but forget where at. My son will be moving to the east coast and living at Quantico. Will be making trips out that way this year.
On a side note with everything going on, I have talked with both Matt and Dan about it all. I hate to see this all ruin a bunch of friendships that most of us have had for many years now. I honestly had no idea about the past presidents having an agreement. I believe this all could have gone a lot better if it had been dealt with at the same time as Dan resigned.
I think Dan has done a great job within the chapter. Everything that he has brought into the MWC just makes it that much better of a chapter to belong to. I have nothing against him and its nothing personal. Yet, when someone resigns from a position no matter whether it be the president of a chapter jeep club, president of a bank, or even president of the US, you lose all privelages that go along with being in that position.
There is a lot of things that could have been done differently in the way it all went about. I know a lot of people are not going to agree with some of what I have said and don't agree with the decisions of the BOD. Im sure I will make people angry and upset with me but I still stand behind by decision. Again this is nothing personal against anybody. There just needs to be kept a prescedence as to what happens within the chapter.

Wouldn't it make sense to keep a guy there as consult that no one seems to have had a problem with and everyone agrees I made the chapter and winterfest better during my term??

It was brought to the public because I have no where else to talk to the BOD, and the membership needs to be aware how the new administration is being run. It was a bad judgement call and if for one moment you thought I wasn't going to dispute your decision, then you need to sharpen up on your politics.

My take on the Indiana gun law; a piece of paper will never prevent bad people from carrying guns. I treat everyone like they are carrying until proven otherwise. I'm all for the 2nd Amendment.
