Important

We get off half of our scheduled work day...I get to leave at 11 this morning. Not sure what I want to do for the rest of they day...maybe get a good buzz so I can stand to go to the candle light services with the in-laws (probably for the last time, woo hoo!)

Cheese "my in-laws suck" Man

This is the first year that Christmas Eve/Christmas has landed on a weekday and I have been off for it. I just had enough vacation and personal days that don't roll over to take this week and next week off. I had this scheduled for a while, but it might just be scheduled the end the day that Sarah might be induced, so I might be off for a month. This will be the last year it will be Christmas for two. Next year won't be exactly a Christmas where a child is excited to open gifts i think as my daughter will be just about a year old, but I look forward to Christmas' of years future watching my child open gifts with excitement. I always enjoy watching children open gifts (birthday or Christmas) at parties or get together.

Merry Christmas everyone, Sarah and my Christmas present will be delivered a bit late this year.

Had trailer issues yesterday in Detroit, it took 4 1/2 hours to have a 12" hydraulic hose replaced.

Was real close to having to spend the night down there.

Clocked 15:57 hours. Allowed 16 hours once a week.

4 day weekend on tap.

I'm tired.

Working a half day today (office closes at noon) and I'm off till Jan 4th. I forsee lots of duck hunting and perhaps some jeep work starting next week...

watched the grinch steal christmas last night.

didn't turn it off before his heart grew.

regretted it.
in future years i will stick to the tradition of stopping it before the happy ending.

Wow. Important thread has woke up. Go karts and booze is all it took. Well I got Busch light and patron sitting in front of me and a honey ham in the smoker.

Yeah, but you probably get that overtime/holiday pay stuff. We don't.

It's about $1.40 per minute for 32 hours over two days.

mac 'then the tax man gets his cut' gyvr

We had a decent indoor go kart track in town years ago, it was fun to take visitors out for BBQ down the street and then slam a couple beers in the parking lot before we went in. Somehow the track went out of business and it was sold and turned into a call center. Couldn't you put a call center anywhere? What a waste. If I ever get around to putting up a garage, I'd turn the sheds into kart storage and set up a track in the backyard.

Roll bars on the karts though... Getting smarter.

My boss used to race carts at the track here in town. The carts he had were quick and he had way too much money wrapped up in it. He used to have 12 carts at one point. Track drama has pretty much shut the track down the last couple years.

We had a half day today. Works been busy and we are in the process of expanding and adding more bays.

Merry Christmas everyone.
