Be happy it didn't happen at 70mph on the interstate. It's not a fun time.....

I broke my center pin in Harlan in 2014. Destroyed the pinion getting out to camp. So far the fix with a zip locker has worked well.

Compressors. For 110, I've seen the crapsman oil-less 30 gallon, both upright and horizontal work well for many, many years. My dad has one that has only had to have the piston replaced in the last 20 years. They are noisy, but they work.

I have a Sanborn 60 gallon 220 upright. Belt drive. Bought it from MeNards about 11 or 12 years ago. Great compressor.

mac 'more than hot air' gyvr

I actually winched this thing off the rock I was on and then tried driving forward and something gave way and it moved fine in 2wd. Drove it 5 miles back to the cabin and then around a bit the next day with no issues. I've gotta pull the shafts but I'm thinking those are gone to.

I didn't build this 30 and priced everything out to repair last night and it was pushing $700 not including shafts. It may be time for a bigger axle.

chalk another one up for the 30 gal Craftsman oil less compressor. I have had the upright version for @15 years and it is still kicking, loud as hell, but kicking. Only th8iing its ever needed is the pressure regulator changed bc it started leaking. I moved it out to the machine shed and upgraded my shop compressor to an 80 gallon 220 unit. Its quiet and hold the volume for the tools I need.

i also have the 30 gal craftsman. its loud as hell and not very powerful but it works. now that I own my garage though, ill be running 220 and getting an oiled compressor that doesn't deafen me and kick on every time I pull the impact trigger

Craftsman 30 gallon vertical here... Other then the noise and lower CFM it is not bad. That being said I cannot wait to upgrade!

Andy, I have 2 extra tanks you can have and gang them to yours. They are at least 30-50 gal each. Was going to gang them up to my old set up, but bought the new unit and have not messed with these for years.

We will have to meet at a local watering hole.....or glory hole.....just as long as we are on the same side of the wall.

I had my very own desk at the front of the room.....yea that was a good idea, make sure everyone can see the clown.

I had to write, "I will not flick boogars at girls" many times myself.
