Important

I have driven a few, but don't remember them being horrible, but anything is cramped when I am used to the Denali. I am even toying with a 5.3/4L60 swap...they are so affordable now, its very tempting...but then come the 1-tons, then the 39.5's and then the body chopping and the countless $$ that are wasted to never be seen again...its a vicious cycle, maybe I should just buy some smack and a few good hookers.

Or you could buy the LS1 XJ I posted from CL and have the hard part already done :D

I sit in an upright position, so no reclining is fine.

There's an appeal because MJs are the shit, and way beefier than the XJ.

but you probably don't want an 86. If you're gonna wheel it you want a shortbed, and all 86's were longbeds.
120" of wheelbase gets old quick in the woods. It's fawesome on the hills though.
the SWB of 113 is pretty much perfect.

this man knows what hes talking about

well if he does it, I have dibs on the rear lower bed panels. I need them.

Please cut them off intact before you smash them, and they WILL get smashed on a LWB MJ.

or just the whole bed and you can make a cab truck.
That's what all the cool kids do.

I had one with bucket seats, I was not cramped.

i'm 6'3" 300 lbs and i had no issues in mine with buckets either. not saying i'd want to drive it cross country, but even with bibs and jacket after hunting, i was fine. i do have short legs though for a big guy.

alt "6'3" with a 32" inseam" rocker1

Anybody ever done any work on replacing the roof on a pop up camper? Ours is starting to leak and don't know if I want to go thru all the work of rebuilding it or just get rid of camper all together. Granted the roof is 35 years old so I guess it's time just don't want to keep dumping a ton of money into it. If anybody has any insight on doing the roof that would be great.

Some pricey stuff there. Says im gonna need a couple gallons. Heck I might as well just get enough to do the new camper as well at the same time

Due south? I am southwest of Indy with that same time frame.
