...and i don't ramble...i banter. rambling is incoherent...banter is incoherent AND pointless. there is a difference
^rambling
also...going from EST to pacific time is a mind *&$k...I woke up at 4am wide awake after going to bed at 8:30 pm. running evaluation booths for continuing education credits for a bunch of physicians today. as brilliant as most doctors are, some of them are pretty dumb.

"Hey...I'm trying to sign up for evaluations and it WON'T work...what is wrong with your program????"

"Sir...you spelled your name wrong on your registration."

"Oh"

this will be most of my day...
^ more rambling

so very true. that is much needed knowledge in this industry. congrats and good luck.

thanks. yea i planned on going back to school after i finished my degree and taking the 3 PLC classes they offer, but we all know that would never end up happening. not to mention it would cost me another 4k to do so.
now i get to soak up all the hands on PLC knowledge i can and get paid to do it.

When you get sick of IL let me know, we just lost a guy to a bottle of Capt.

Apparently he fell on his face while pushing buttons on an HMI.

well, i am already sick of IL. but my biggest issue is the 9 months of winter so going to MI would not work for me.

i really wanted to work in the solar PV industry but i don't like residential work so i hoped to work at a solar farm. there is just not enough market for that out here. someday i may end up moving southwest to get into that world.
or, you know, keep making plastic for the rest of my life...

You prefer mud and rain and a inch of snow every now and again instead?

anywhere north of northern Georgia is shitty in the winter
That's about how Indiana is around us. Both of us just really enjoy Michigan for some reason. Have even looked into transferring to another plant up in Lansing for my job.

you're crazy.. it may not start until jan, but there is a solid 2 feet of snow on the ground from jan-march around here.

You're pretty far north though aren't you? I am exaggerating a bit. :gee:

I couldn't do that. Lansing and all that down there are to big of a city for me!

But it is still Michigan! And it is better, just ask John Popp!
