I have an AA with a front shaft from a 97 as my spare and an 8.8 rear axle with ~2.5" of lift after it sagged. Works fine.

AA SYE's are for rich light selling guy's!! And MJG told me your shaft was to short, the u joint's have way to much slop and it is slightly bent!!

I had a JB conversions SYE not a HNT. its in outcastboss's rig now. im not sure what driveshaft he uses but I used a XJ front shaft just fine.

I had a AA SYE and ran a front shaft on my 8.25" and 44. Worked fine. But now I run a retubed front shaft

I welded a new tire on the gate today. I could've plugged into the RV plug on the side of the house if I had a campground welder cord. Instead I ran the genset because it needed run and I have a cord for it to run the welder.
