Fore 'not my jeep' Wheeler
Dealt with that twice. What year is it?

Been seeing an '00 WJ Limited for sale here for a while, supposedly no rust, needs a transmission. Looks pretty nice other than that.

Also tripped over a 242 WJ transfer case at the junkyard, then found a 242 J t-case from a '96 ZJ that should bolt into my '96 XJ, but that's just making a long story even longer...

Would I be retarded to buy the WJ, and swap in the 242 WJ with a new trans? Assuming I'd still probably have to deal with all the other usual WJ issues like the 4.7 problems, and climate control blend door...

Just found worst driver in world, handicapped Asian woman from Ohio county ky

I completely understand where they get their bad driving habits from, China was a shit show on the road. I thought chicago drivers were bad...I should have taken a video.

Trans are like 1800-2600 here for rebuild. I vote pass. But i have a very sour taste over them.

DD or a fix n' flip John?

There is a '02 WJ for $800 on Indy CL that also needs a trans. If I had time it would make a decent daily for Kim until the baby, then I could flip it for a decent profit.

FWIW I can get a JY WJ trans locally for $400 if you wanted to go that route.

98, 98 motor

I have Changed three motors in the last year, everyone of them was a 98, all broke Pistons.

We put new a new piston and bearings in this one, while we are there new rear main seal, lifters, motor mount, new front coils,

It runs super quiet, for now

DD for Cindy. Her 98 XJ is nice, being from Colorado it's mostly rust free, but it's had some crappy bodywork done that's gonna need some attention. I'd much rather do mechanical work. LKQ sells trannies for $99 and they have a bunch of WJs, just wonder how many still have the trans. That 242 WJ I found was laying there because someone needed the trans...

Good weekend!
It is always a good time when friends meet friends!
Too many kids though.
Looking forward to October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th!

A camper tire and rim can be bought at tractor supply for $130.00.

Finally ordered a ZJ v8 draglink that I bent in May. I may need to eradicate some wasps that I think made a home somewhere on it.

Yes looking forward to that weekend. Course we will still have a kid with us but she will only be about 3 months old.
