Sounds like your getting good at working on there ex. Will just park ours out front so you can work on it after yours.

We need a bigger house...just having trouble finding something we can afford out of the city with a big garage.

Need a gearhead bachelor with some money to buy mine...like I was 8 years ago...

For anybody that goes camping and has a TV in their camper, are there digital converters that are better than others? Just got a 95 travel trailer and I'm putting a small tv in it to watch when it rains or in the morning for the news and such. It just has the factory antennae up on the roof so just trying to figure out my options to get the most stations to come in. Figured at the least I would need a digital converter but didn't know if there were ones that were better than others.

My factory antenna pulls digital signals in just fine. Most of them do.

The issue with digital signals is the tuner in the tv, not the antenna. If you buy a small modern flat screen, it should work with what is already installed.

Yea the TV I threw in the camper is probably about 17 years old but it is perfect size to fit into tv spot in camper. May eventually get a new small flat screen for in bedroom part but keep this older tv out in kitchen area.

I've used several digital converters and they all work about the same.

Josh could find the link faster than me, but there are small immobile digital antennas that you can buy to replace the old mess that's on your current RV. If I could manage to keep an RV long enough AND not get hurt, I'm going to put one on mine...eventually. Is it necessary, probably not. But the current 01 antenna on my winnie doesn't go up and down anymore so instead of messing with it, I'll just replace it.

Sounds interesting. We have never used the antenna on any of our campers, just an old TV with a built in DVD player.

Mac I hear you on being behind. I've only been laid up a week and it seems like eternity. I'm supposed to get the staples out and the plaster cast off Tuesday, if the Dr says I have another 4 weeks non-weight bearing I may flip out.

What did you do to break your foot? Never did hear the story. Was it kicking down a door like Matt

I was non-weigh bearing for 7 weeks! Plus 3 more weeks in a light weight walking boot.

Nothing near that exciting. Defensive tactics/takedown training, rolled my ankle. Didn't feel that bad at the time, so I finished the day and drove 4 hours home from Ft Wayne. The next day I found out my fibula was broken in two places. Had surgery last Friday to get a titanium plate and seven screws installed to hold it all together.

Supposedly I am getting a moon boot on Tuesday. Not sure on the weight bearing part, but it sure would be nice to get back on light duty.
