Is that one of those fast drain things? Supposed to make it so you don't dribble oil down the pan.

I had one like that on one of my jeeps. Was for a fram ez drain tube to drain oil. Took it off and replaced it with regular style plug

Its definitely some king of Easy drain thing. they should call it a pain in the ass drain. Not only does it drain really slow (using a small screw driver to push in the center), who wants to rely on a spring to make sure that the oil does not drain out of the pan. Looks like a company trying to solve a problem that does not exist.

That's exactly what it is. The hose you thread on has a cone shaped deal that pushes in the center hole to drain the oil, very slowly.

I had one, used it once before I went back to a regular plug.

Had to fix a friend of a friends TJ, he swapped in a 8.8 with a truss and didn't fully weld the upper control arm mounts, so they broke off. Also had twist nuts on the electrical for the light bar...

On another note, my union contract passed, I'm going to work tomorrow and not on strike over frivolous crap.....and I make more monies now!
