Important

Picked up my motorcycle from the dealership after getting some work done. Eventually I will wash it when it gets warmer. It runs great, so that is all I care about now. Before anyone asks, this is exactly how I bought it for $1200.

Interesting party last night.. Makes me glad I don't make a living in this market.

The behind the scenes shit talking is impressive. I thought we were all supposed to work together to grow the sport.

Have a guy dropping off a truck to get rockers done. Was supposed to be here at 830....still waiting

On the good side I got garage clean while I wait.

They don't have a sport. That's what makes that scene suck so bad. They build tacky jeeps with no purpose.

You're missing the point. It's the entire industry.

I'm not sure about that. I talk to a lot of our vendors who are very pro active in the real scene. They happen not to beat jeep beach though

It was a few very well respected multimillion dollar suspension and lighting companies. You need to open up your mind, our unibody market is extremely small and will dry up eventually. Ever wonder why you don't see XJ SEMA builds? It's a dying market. If that's your niche, no problem. But the fact is, the money is else where. And it's not "our" market.

This is the exact thing I'm talking about. We all share the same hobby but for some reason ya'll can't get along. And honestly it's all petty reasons. Be it monetary or what they choose to use their vehicle for. Fact is without a lot of these "jeep beach" companies, Ultra 4 would be a lot smaller. You would be surprised the amount of money these companies spend supporting a series you closely follow.

One of our very respected vendors was on the receiving end of the shit talking. The shit talker sponsors quite a few ultra 4 cars....

A useless blinged out jeep will never be my scene, maybe because I'm not in it for the money. I have nothing against wranglers or any make or model. I just don't care for jeeps that are built like the kracken or whatever it's called. That's not my hobby. My hobby is wheeling. I don't care if it's a brand new JK or an old beat up Sammy.

This event is put on by people that wheel a lot more than probably all of the Midwest chapter combined

That's nice. Still not my kinda thing. Now if they had it in early August at silver lake, I might be down since you can actually wheel there. Plus it's a lot cleaner than Daytona.
