Kid on base has a 91 MJ on a 4.5" lift and 33's and wants way too much money. I gave him my starting price and he got butthurt.

You can't expect full retail for all the stuff you bolted on your 24 year old truck.

Ah yeah that makes tuff. Far too many people think the value is the sum of all the parts added up when new. I'm sorry but even NIB stuff is not worth new value after purchase.

if you ever want to fill up your inbox, put an ad up for free scrap metal. i have an old grill and an xj hood that i don't feel like taking to the yard and its in my way. it always amazes me too..."hey i know you said come get it today, but can i come pick it up friday or saturday?" umm...no. now the question is do i haul it to the curb and give them my address or throw it in the back of the xj and meet them at walmart.

I used to do that instead of battling the Saturday crowd at the scrapyard... I'd get people driving their old beat up 10 MPG pickups from an hour away just to get $30 worth of scrap.

It was worth giving it away for the amusement, then I realized many aren't the kinds of people I want scoping out what else I have sitting around.
