i suck at making bloody Marys.. ohh well on to the beer its past 12 now.
I'm trying to get a little more info out of the kid now. Sounds like he is in money trouble and needs to move it. Not sure if there is a way to verify the build without paperwork or not. I may go look at it tomorrow if it doesn't snow too bad here tonight. I'm pretty skeptical right now...that's a 2500 crate motorif he's not got the GM paperwork I wouldn't believe it.
If he bought it he knew what he paid and 600 is no where near what it's worth.

fixed.
seriously, go look at summits website for a late model 6.0 goodwrench reman. They're all 6+ with a 2500 core charge.
how is the hood glare in that position?
If it's just a parts yard motor cleaned up and painted then $600 is what it's worth. If it's been rebuilt then maybe $1000-$1200. If it is actually a GM crate motor with 0 miles then it's worth $3k to $4k. If this guy is actually selling a 0 mile crate motor for $600 he's an F-ing moron! Otherwise as long as it runs and has no issues it's worth the $600 he's asking. FYI this will swap into any LS GM vehicle bolt in. You'd just have to have the ECM reflashed which can be done for a few hundred from Blackbear Performance.thats what i'm kind of worried about actually...all the pics he have of it with the oil pan and valve covers off look brand new. even if its not a gm crate, its still worth a lot more than $600 if everything is new.
It sold...not sure what it actually was but someone may have gotten a steal. Either that of the guy got scared off by all the questions he was gettingIf it's just a parts yard motor cleaned up and painted then $600 is what it's worth.
