aaannd...the kid sold it out from under me when we had a deal worked out and a time to meet. i made arrangements to make the deal on friday and was ready to come up, but the kid just stopped texting me. now we re-made a deal after i saw it was still for sale yesterday and i made plans to go get it. now he claims his dad sold it while he was at work.

kind of had a feeling that would happen

My neighborhood does not have an HOA. It was a big selling point when I bought the house. If neighbors have a problem with one another, we deal with it like adults.

The thought of paying people every year to tell me what I can and can't do with my own property is not appealing...

I don't have an HOA.

I have city code.

I can pee anywhere in my back yard and not been seen at anytime.

With 10k a day of vehicles going by my house, going out front isn't recommended until the sun goes down at least...

Got my thermostat replaced, got the electric fan out of the way but had to break the plastic near one of the screws because of a rounded head. I got the belt loose and off, even got the alternator unbolted but it is still stuck in place. I had to give up for the day to get ready for work. The bottom moves around but the top won't budge. I will get this done, have to now that I have no cooling currently. Hopefully the fan will not cause issues with only a screw holding it in.
 
We have a pee hole out back yes...

We don't really have anywhere to pee outside without neighbors seeing. But have gone between boat and shed when I didn't feel like going in house. Just smile and wave at cars driving past
 
No one can see my yard from anywhere unless they are in it.
I have been known to sit on the front porch and drink coffee in my birthday suit on warm weekend mornings.
I even talked Lar into...well I will just leave that one alone...

Even if they were in your yard watching you pee they wouldn't be able to see anything.:D
