I would like to know what this 3+ day weekend thing is you all are talking about. All I ever get is the 2 day weekend and I end up working harder at home then I do at work
 
I'll have a 4 day weekend next weekend. But that's because I had a 0 day weekend last weekend.
 
I don't have any four day weekend scheduled for a while (I may have a five day weekend sometime in December to burn vacation days before I lose them). I do have a three day weekend next month. Next four day weekend I hope to get would be for my anniversary trip to Nashville, TN and then Winterfest next year.
 
This will be the first time I'm home for more that 48 hours in quite some time. It sucks to lose the money, but I hate being away from home so much. Hopefully it will give me a chance to go talk to some people about starting to work closer to home. Plus it was a screw up on the part of the client and my employer...they are going to try to get me an extra shift next week when I'm here again.
 
I'm working two days for the city this week, tonight and tomorrow. This past weekend was payback for traded shifts where I worked 8 days in a row the weekend before and this coming weekend is actual using vacation time...we are so low on manpower it's hard to get a night off without trading days.

Anybody know where to get replacement center caps for rims? Looking for one for our xj limited rims. Also looking for an extra rim so I can put them on the zj. Here is the type of rim I'm looking for.

The correct center cap for the Icons is about 1-15/16" diameter, kinda hard to come by. The Icons I just picked up had 2-1/8" ones that were common on the later ZJs. You can find both on Ebay, but I think they're overpriced for a little piece of plastic. I would like to find a couple more of the rims, to have matching spares on my 96 and the wife's 98, so if you find some let me know. Haven't seen any on C-list since I bought mine.
 
I have a 4 day weekend every week. 4 on 4 off is the best schedule I have ever had. I usually end up working a bit of part time a couple days, but it still works out great.

That's not too terrible. We get turkey day, Christmas day, and new years day off. None of the eves. Have to burn vacation on Christmas eve to go spend time with my family. Then they make us do inventory on new years eve. So we usually start at 5am and finish somewhere between 8-10pm. Then try to salvage what's left of the eve for festivities.
 
Just got to Chicago, work paid 53 cents per mile to and from chicago because I am flying to Toronto for work for a new customer. Pays for the fuel it takes to get to the badlands this weekend and I am already half way there.

2 days for turkey and 24th until the 4th for Xmas adding 2 vacation days 22nd and 23rd so I get 16 off... Used frequent flyer miles so I can go back to Vermont for $10 for a few days.

The USA is no where near what Europeans get off thru the year, look it up. They have a lot of time off.

When I worked for the Italians I was amazed at the holidays they vet. 3/4 of August and 3/4 of December. Plus every catholic holiday known to man that falls through out the year.

I come from a catholic family and didn't know half those holidays existed...
